BRIDGE at the Paris Conference on AI and Digital Ethics
At the Paris Conference on AI and Digital Ethics, IZEW, as part of the BRIDGE team, presented its research on ethics and robotics.
Paris, 12.06.2026
Ethical indicators for the governance of smart robots are not yet widely available – a gap that the BRIDGE project's research aims to address. The work bridges the fields of artificial intelligence, environmental ethics, and robotics, providing practical guidance for both robot developers and funding bodies alike.
These research findings were recently presented to an international expert audience: our colleagues Lou and Aline from the International Center for Ethics in the Sciences and Humanities (IZEW) at the University of Tübingen attended the Paris Conference on AI and Digital Ethics, where they shared the project's latest insights.
The exchange with international experts in AI ethics and digitalization offered valuable input for the project's ongoing work. Alongside the professional discussions, there was also time to explore the conference city of Paris.
