What the Project Is About
The goal of this research project is to develop a methodology for the automated repair of electrical appliances and to implement a prototype of this methodology in a technology demonstrator, with a target Technology Readiness Level of 6 (TRL 6). At the core is an intelligent robotic system capable of recognizing, diagnosing, repairing, and documenting standardized fault patterns. The focus is on flexible, robust, and economically scalable repair processes and the repair of defects with a high potential for recurrence, such as those found in both industrial control devices and consumer products.
